4) Generating Excellence in Power Generation - Kick-off Workshop of the Excellence Enhancement CentreIn the kick-off workshop of the Excellence Enhancement Centre (EEC) a Memorandum of Understanding between the Indian Central Electricity Authority and VGB PowerTech was signed. Both organisations commit themselves to foster the set up and the operation of the EEC by sharing best practices from India and Germany. The objective of the EEC is to facilitate performance improvements in Indian power sector, especially with respect to efficiency and reliability. The EEC is one of the first projects which has been initiated and funded under the Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF).
