How to become a member?

For the admission into the association interested companies, other organisations or individuals can send an informal written application to the VGB Offices.

The Executive Management and the Board of Directors decide whether the admission is ordinary, affiliate or sponsoring.

Rights and obligations of members are regulated in the statutes .

The annual membership fee of VGB members depends on the currently valid scale of fees. For thermal power plants the basis for the assessment is the installed maximum steam generating capacity. For all other non-thermal power plants the basis for assessment is the total electrical gross capacity.
