This year’s conference starts with the analytical control of quality characteristics of secondary fuels as well as quality assurance of analytical instruments. Other papers are dealing with the long term water supply of lignite-fired power plants in the Rhenish district, the removal of power plant relevant TOC fractions from the raw water as well as the use of brackish and sea water for producing demineralized water. Furthermore items of nuclear power plant chemistry as well as of flue gas cleaning are presented in two sections.

The Conference will be accompanied by a technical exhibition.
