VGB will organise a conference for the international research project "Demonstration of Large Scale Biomass Co-Firing and Supply Chain Integration - DEBCO" within the scope of the 7th Research Programme of the European Commission. The aim of this project has been to increase the share of biomass in co-firing in fossil fuel-fired power plants for different types of biomass and combustion techniques and the development, demonstration, and evaluation of innovative and advanced co-firing technologies. All process steps, from fuel processing to flue gas treatment and ash utilisation, have been analysed. The final results the project will be presented on this final conference.
