Current Topics

The participations informed themselves about the company RheinEnergie and the generating units at the site Cologne-Niehl.

The project teams “Generator” and “Transformer” reported about the current working results. To special generator topics was held a further meeting with Siemens in October 2007. Within the project team “Generator” two teams are dealing with the topics “revision cycles” and “quality monitoring/tests”.

In the exchange of experiences were presented projects with interest for all plants and reported about maintenance projects. The insurance of the required quality at the manufacturers’ und service companies was not available all the time.

The invitations for the KELI 2008 06th to 8th May 2008 in Hamburg were distributed. The Steering Committee emphasized the wide activities regarding the program for students.

The subject of grid codes and the UCTE requirements for generating units are current topics. The offer of UCTE/EURELECTRIC for special discussions should be used for a common statement of generating utilities.
