Gala Evening

Table reservations for the Gala Evening There will be no general seating plan. The Congress Office will accept wishes for
reservations at the following times:

Wednesday, 6th October 2004, 11.00 h to 14.00 h
Thuersday, 7th October 2004, 10.00 h to 12.00 h

In order to ensure an efficient organisation and to avoid double bookings, please present your entrance ticket for each reservation so that the table number may be entered on it. We ask for your understanding in this matter.

Technical Exhibition

During the Congress there will be an opportunity to visit the accompanying exhibition,which is taking place in parallel with the Congress in an exhibition hall near the lecture rooms. The exhibition will be open on Wednesday, 6th October, 2004 at 12.00 h.

Simultaneous Translation

The lectures in the congress programme will be interpreted simultaneously into English or German. Headsets may be obtained from the VGB Congress Office and must be returned after each event. In consideration of other participants you are requested to switch off your mobile phones during lectures.

Publication of Congress Proceedings

The papers delivered within the congress programme will be published in a special volume obtainable from the Congress Office.

Mail and Messages for Participants

The arrival of letters, telegrams, messages, faxes, etc. for congress participants will be announced on the notice board in the Congress Office, and they may be picked up there. We trust you will understand that participants may not be called out of the lecture room to take a telephone call, etc.
