This international event, which is held every two years, is intended, in particular, to reflect the ongoing technical development in the field of maintenance, provide a form for the discussion of topics of current topical interest, and foster the close exchange of information and experience between all those working in the field of power plant maintenance. After a lengthy break, the contributions are once again being presented in two sections in German and English. Simultaneous translation is provided.

The tasks of the maintenance experts are shifting. All operators have undertaken optimization programmes with the goal, among others, of reducing costs and increasing availability. New tasks arising from new technologies, e.g. CCS, now have to be addressed. But also work safety and quality assurance now rank significantly higher than they did just a few years ago.

To provide information on a practical level, the conference programme contains a raft of papers on techniques, experience and damage.

As always, the conference will be accompanied by an exhibition, where both service providers and operators have the opportunity to present their products. It highlights the modern maintenance techniques applied by the industry for power  plant operators.
