Participants are requested to register by 7th April 2006 (deadline for list of participants). We will confirm the registration by sending the invoice. You will receive your ticket at the conference office. Participation is also possible upon late registration, however, the participant’s name cannot be entered into the list of participants. Tickets can also be bought at the conference office.

Students are admitted free of charge upon presentation of a valid students´ card. Please send a copy of the students´ card with your registration.

It is not possible to accept credit cards or foreign currency at the conference office.

The attendance fees include the conference programme and participation list, the conference proceedings on CD-ROM, coffee breaks and beverages, lunch and the participation in the get-together on Tuesday, 9th May 2006, and the evening event on Wednesday, 10th May 2006, as well as visits.

The following fees will be charged for cancellation of registration:

up to 14 days prior to the conference 10 %
within 14 days prior to the conference 25 %
non-attendance or cancellation on the day of the conference 100 %

Only written cancellations are accepted.

Get-together

On Tuesday, 9th May 2006, beginning at 19.00 h, ABB invites all participants and exhibitors to a gettogether in the exhibition area.

Visits

Harbour Tour

Wednesday, 10th May 2006, harbour tour. Starting at 17.15 h, bus transfer to Düsseldorf harbour, subsequently a 2-hour-harbour tour, with kindly support of Invensys.
Exit approx. at 20.00 h at harbour Neuss, close to the “Alte Zeughaus”, (location of the evening event).

Visit of the Lignite Open-Cast Mining Area in Garzweiler

As alternative to the harbour tour, you can visit the lignite open-cast mining area in Garzweiler, with kindly support of Mauell. Starting at 17.15 h, bus transfer to Garzweiler. Guided bus tour through the open-cast mining area – possibly also to a bucket-wheel excavator – and the reclamation areas. At 19.30 h return to Neuss to the “Alte Zeughaus” (location of the evening event).

The number of participants is limited. The date of receipt is essential!

Evening Event

On Wednesday, 10th May 2006 all participants are invited to a joint dinner at the “Alte Zeughaus”, Markt 42-44 in Neuss, with kindly support of Siemens (distance to Dorint Novotel approx. 1 km)
Start: 20.00 h. Please take your conference badge with you!

You will receive detailed information in the conference office on-site.

Accompanying persons are welcome to the side programme. Please understand that these person have to be registered at cost price.
