Nuclear Power Plants

The Steering Committee (SC) "Nuclear Power" co-ordinates the activities of the four companies operating nuclear power plants in Germany.:

• SC Nuclear Power
• WP Legal Affairs
• WP Monitoring of Nuclear Regulations

The committees of the General Committee (GC) "Nuclear Power Plants" deal with the following three main issues

• engineering,
• operation,
• fuel cycle,

all technical and operational items for a long-term secure and trouble-free operation of nuclear power plants. All committees report annually to the GC "Nuclear Power Plants" which co-ordinates the working fields of all committees.
