The training of shift personnel of nuclear power plants takes place at the Simulator-Centre – founded in 1987 - at full-scale simulators.

It consists of two companies:

• the GfS Gesellschaft für Simulatorschulung mbH,  carries out the simulator training and
• the KSG-Kraftwerks-Simulator-Gesellschaft mbH, provides the simulator centre with simulators and the relevant infrastructure
