Option 1)
Bus tour of the Angelite countryside
Come with us on a trip into the history of the Angeln region, and learn about its former peasants and kings and the way they lived. Your tour guide will accompany you through the rolling Angelite hills and tell you about the “Land und Lüüd” (the land and its people). The tour will take you past romantic churches made of undressed stone, windmills and country villages to the Unewatt Landscape Museum. Following a guided tour of the museum islands and the village centre, the trip will continue to Glücksburg. Here, you will find one of Germany’s loveliest moated castles, with an extensive collection of ancestral portraits, valuable tapestries, the romantic Chapel and the famous Red Room. After the visit, the bus will bring us back to Flensburg, where the outing will end.
