How to find VGB

By car

From Düsseldorf take highway A 52 and take the exit Essen-Bergerhausen (approx. 27 km). Turn left; right at the next crossroads into the Huttropstraße. Next street right into the Bergerhauserstaße. Go straight on and pass the highway bridge, then turn next street right into the Klinkestraße. You will find the VGB building on the right.

From Dortmund take the highway A 40 up to the highway crossing Essen-Ost (approx. 40 km) and turn to the A 52 direction Düsseldorf. Take the next exit Essen-Bergerhausen. Turn right, turn right again at the next crossroads into the Huttropstraße. Next street right into the Bergerhauserstaße. Go straight on and pass the highway bridge, then turn next street right into the Klinkestraße. You will find the VGB building on the right.

From Duisburg: coming from the A 40 take the exit at Essen-Huttrop. Turn right into the Steelerstraße and go straight on for about 200 m, then turn right into the Huttropstraße. After about 100 m turn left into the Moltkestraße, then right into the Bergerhauserstraße. Turn left and pass the highway bridge, then turn next street right into the Klinkestraße. You will find the VGB building on the right.

By plane

The Airport Düsseldorf is located about 30 km from Essen and is the closest. Alternative airports are Köln-Bonn (90 km) and Dortmund (50 km).

At Düsseldorf Airport take the S-Bahn “S 1” (city train), which will directly take you to the main station in Essen (approx. 35 minutes) or alternatively: take a taxi to VGB (costs approx. 50 €).

From the main station Essen the easiest way is to take a taxi (6 minutes ride, about 6 €).
