2) Statement of the VGB Scientific Advisory Board on the Events in Japan

30 professors of energy technology and power plant engineering from Europe who make up the VGB Scientific Advisory Board and who are giving advice to the technical association VGB PowerTech, are calling for an objective and factual discussion about the events taking place in Japan and their effects on European nuclear power plants.

3) Call for Papers - VGB Conference "Chemistry in Power Plants 2011"

VGB's annual Conference "Chemistry in Power Plants" will take place in Munich/Germany on October 26/27, 2011. The conference is a forum for energy utilities and operators of industrial power plants. Operating experience will be discussed and technical developments in the field of power plant chemistry will be presented.
