2) KKS Application Explanations for Hydro Power Plants, VGB-B 106 D1, Edition May, 2005
The ENTEC final report for the European Commission, Preparation of the review related to the Large Combustion Plant Directive has been published in the internet by the European Commission for general information.
The report informs amongst other items on the implementation of the Directive in EU member states. It was realised in the report that a number of countries (Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands and United Kingdom) prefer the implementation of a National Emission Reduction Plan (NERP). To some amount significant matters are not covered by the NERP and regulated alternatively by Emission Limit Values.

The plant identification rules (guidelines, keys, and application explanations), edited by VGB Power Tech as part of the Identification System for Power Stations (KKS), leave room for different ways of identification to meet the requirements of the various engineering disciplines including that of hydro power plants. Identification standard DIN 6779, part 10, includes these rooms as well in order to allow different users and power stations to make use of these rules.
