> VGB Quality Award 2010< There are new power-station construction projects with an electrical capacity of over 100,000 MW in Europe. These are in the planning process, tender phase or already under construction. Experience from implemented power-station projects showed deficiencies in quality, which have to be avoided in the forthcoming projects. For the fifth time, VGB will present the "VGB Quality Award" to increase quality. We call all ordinary VGB members to submit nominations until August 2, 2010. More information in the member area:

> Revision of BREF-LCP Document < The revision of the BVT-data sheet on large combustion plants (BREF-LCP) progresses. The revision status can be followed from the information provided in the closed user group "BREF-LCP Group" on the VGB internet site. Please contact Dr. Andreas Wecker, if you would like to access this information:

> List of New Power Plants in Europe: Update May 2010 < The list New Power Plants comprises power plants in planning and under construction in Europe. Energy sources like gas, hard coal, lignite, wind, water, waste etc. are considered. Based on the list, the planned total output (MW) and the portions of the sources of energy (MW) can be determined. Due to political and economic decisions, the list lives with further planning measures and with cancellations. The current list is available in the member area for download:
