> KISSY Workshop <
The number of participants in KISSY is continuously increasing. This year, hydro power plants are participating for the first time and preparations for the inclusion of wind power plants are made.
We would like to inform you about these and other new features in a one-day workshop. Discussions about your requirements and individual requests are welcome. A first workshop, held in German language, is taking place in Essen on June 21, 2012. The English workshop is scheduled for October 2012. The date will be announced in the near future. Both workshops are free of charge.

1) DEBCO Research Project: DEmonstration of large scale Biomass Co-firing and supply chain integration
With support of the EWG "Biomass" VGB is participating in the DEBCO project under the 7th framework program of the European Commission. The aim of the project is the development, demonstration, and evaluation of innovative and advanced co-firing technologies at three large-scale power plants in Europe. The main task of VGB is to evaluate the implementation and to support the publication of the projects results. Therefore a workshop of the tasks leaders and the VGB team took place on the May 30/31, 2012. Furtheron VGB will organize an international conference in Brussels for the presentation of the final results of the project at the end of 2012.
