The European producers of FGD Gypsum are invited to join a consortium of companies aiming at a joint registration of gypsum and FGD gypsum according to the future European REACH Directive. The Project Group "REACH Registration of Gypsum" was established jointly by the associations VDEW, VGB, BVK, BVGips, Eurogypsum and ECOBA. The group will compile and elaborate the necessary documents for the registration as soon as the Directive has come into force. More detailed information is included in the invitation letter to the FGD gypsum producers.

The VGB Guideline R 175 explains basic terms and lists threats and measures in a structured and clearly understandable way in the form of a graphic overview (see mind map in the Appendix) with explanatory text. Furthermore, examples of IT security, in particular for interfaces between the IT and instrumentation and control systems, will be included for a better understanding.
