The meeting place of international power plant chemistry

The presentation of chemistry in the digital age is the prelude to the 55th Chemistry Conference. Furthermore, new and current aspects of condensate and water treatment will be presented, including the problems of TOC and condenser cleaning.

For the operation of the water-steam cycle, especially in cyclic operation, the importance of the parameter total iron is pointed out and a well-known but often underestimated problem of the carry-over from the drum is discussed. Various experiences with amines are reported and the effect of combustion-side problems on the WDK is presented.

For the field of microbiology in cooling circuits there is information on analysis and safe operation.

The chemical aspects in nuclear plants are commissioning and decontamination as well as conductivity measurement and lime precipitation in the turbine condenser.

On the subject of fuels, the influence of moisture on flowability and solutions for reducing dust emissions will be presented.

The conference will again be accompanied by an interesting trade exhibition in the foyer.
