The VGB CONGRESS, this year presented as a joint event with the IERE WORKSHOP, with its joint motto POWER GENERATION IN TRANSITION will take place in the INFINITY Hotel Conference Resort Munich, Germany, on 12 and 13 September 2018. These events will focus on the joint action of renewable and conventional power generation within the dramatically changing market environments in Germany, Europe and worldwide. Political and general issues with regard to the energy supply will be discussed in the plenary session on the first day.

The parallel sessions on the second day will provide an outlook on technical aspects of the future energy supply.
