> List of New Power Plants in Europe: Update February 2009 < The list New Power Plants comprises power plants in planning and under construction in Europe. Energy sources like gas, hard coal, lignite, wind, water, waste etc. are considered. Based on the list, the planned total output (MW) and the portions of the sources of energy (MW) can be determined. Due to political and economic decisions, the list lives with further planning measures and with cancellations. The current list is available in the member area for download:

1) Production Data of the RWE Innogy Power Plants

The actual production data from the renewable energy power plant portfolio of RWE Innogy are available on an interactive map. The production data of the wind farms, hydro power plants as well as biomass combined heat and power plants will be updated every minute.

2) EnBW Acquires Three Onshore Wind Farms from Plambeck Neue Energien

EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG has acquired three onshore wind farms in Lower Saxony and Brandenburg with a total of 26 wind turbines and a total installed output of 52 megawatts. The onshore wind capacity installed has been increased from the current 28 Megawatt to 80 Megawatt at EnBW.
