Oil Monitoring for Wind Power Plants

Wind turbines are highly dynamically stressed structures with large numbers of load cycles, which lead to particularly heavy loads on the lubrication of gearbox bearings and gears.

The aim of this workshop is to present appropriate practical solutions for these challenges and to discuss potential improvements.

The oil workshop will mainly highlight the following topics:

• Experience from the operator´s point of view
• Oil degradation and methods to detect it
• Oil monitoring
• Oil analysis
• Use of additives
• Oil change – maintenance of gear boxes

Practical examples will be also given on this workshop.

The evaluation and assessment of the specific oil systems will be in the focus of this event. Therefore, the workshop is amongst others addressing all persons responsible for supervision and planning of these systems as well as those who are in charge of procurement and who concentrate on equipment availability. The programme leaves enough time for extensive discussions and answering your questions.
