VGB-Workshop "Safety & Health in the Wind Energy Industry"

The utilisation of wind energy is playing an important role in order to meet the targets of the European Union. Production from wind energy sources is expected to reach almost 500 TWh in 2020. Large investments are necessary and require a profound HSE organization to drive the development activities in a safe, efficient and sustainable manner.

This workshop will give a detailed overview about the evaluation and communication of incidents in the wind industry. The speakers will present their experiences and give a reflection to upcoming developments.

Participation is recommended for health and safety experts in the wind industry as well as for project management and employees from authorization bodies and manufacturers.
