VGB Workshop "Flue Gas Cleaning 2015"

The annual VGB Workshop on Flue Gas Cleaning is organised by the VGB European Working Group "Flue Gas Cleaning" in order to provide a platform for VGB members and other interested experts for information about and discussion of developments in pollutant abatement and in the experience gained in operation of flue gas cleaning installations.

This workshop covers all aspects of flue gas cleaning activities as well as of online monitoring and instrumentation for emission detection.

Against the background of Europeon legislation the presentations of DeNOxactivities take a larger part this year, but it will also be shown how to recycle the used catalysts.

Some operation experiences of Polish  power plants will be given as weil as new  projects in Turkey.

For the desulphurization step new technologies and mercury emission reduction to air and by-products will be presented.

As a special aspect this year's workshop includes the legal aspects for the taking over  procedure and the last developments of different BREFs and Directives.

Presentations by specialists from all over Europe provide a basis for discussion for all participants of the Workshop.
