PG Engine Heating Power Plants

The enhanced expansion of decentralized generation and the strongly fluctuating supply of renewable energies will be an important challenge for the energy industry in the coming years. The engine technology offers the possibility to operate with high load change gradients with a short start-up time and only low technical effort in the hot keeping. Owing to these properties, a growing importance of combustion engines in the field of power and heat generation can be observed. VGB offer an in-depth possibility for the exchange of experience in this increasingly important technology. The focal points of the exchange are the technical, operational and environmental subjects. Currently 20 experts are working in the Technical Group Engine Heating Power Plants.
