Technical Group Health&Safety for Offshore Wind Power Plants

The Technical Group (TG) “Health&Safety” for Offshore Wind Power Plants is dealing with issues to occupational safety and health in wind power plants. The main aim is to evaluate and communicate accidents and incidents and to build up preventional measures and procedures.

  • Exchange of information and experience
  • Model Safety Concept (SchuSiKo)
  • Guidelines Employer`s liability insurance (BG, DGUV)
  • Harmonisation of the requirements, certification and content of the training for offshore workers
  • Medical care (health certificates, first aid)
  • Round table "Maritime Sicherheitspartnerschaft"
  • Co-operation with other organisations (e. g. Offshore Wind Energy Foundation, G+ Global Offshore Wind Health and Safety Organisation)
  • Collection and distribution of safety alerts
