Plant Security

The Working Panel deals with all issues regarding plant security. For this purpose an exchange takes place concerning necessary technical, structural and organisational measures in response to the legal and regulatory requirements.

Tasks

The Working Panel (WP) deals with all issues regarding plant security. For this purpose an exchange takes place concerning necessary technical, structural and organisational measures in response to the legal and regulatory requirements.

If necessary, the WP initiates or accompanies research and investigation programmes.

Further tasks:

  • Contribution to the work on safety standards.
  • Technical coordination of common response to requests by authorities and external technical expert organisations.
  • Monitoring the state of the art in science and technology.
  • Coordination of training measures on site protection.
