Der VGB-Standard "IT-Sicherheit für Erzeugungsanlagen" erläutert grundlegende Begriffe und stellt Bedrohungen und abgeleitete Anforderungen strukturiert und übersichtlich zusammen. Ergänzend sind Handlungsempfehlungen zu den einzelnen Anforderungen zum besseren Verständnis und für die schnelle Umsetzung im Sinne von Beispielen aufgeführt. Es ist geplant, weitere Hilfestellungen für die praktische Anwendung und zeitnahe Hinweise auf aktuelle Ereignisse in einer Bibliothek bereit zu stellen.
