An der Lufteintrittsseite des LuvoŽs (Rauchgasaustrittsseite) besteht die Gefahr der Taupunktskorrosion, weshalb die Bleche in diesem Bereich emailliert werden.

Die Vermeidung von Verbrennungsrückständen in Schmelzkammerfeuerungen sollte an oberster Stelle stehen, wobei eine optimale Gestaltung von Brenner und Feuerraum sowie passender Brennstoff und kontrollierter Feuerungsbetrieb anzustreben sind. Damit das erreicht wird, werden im folgenden Empfehlungen und Hinweise zur Vermeidung sowie Vorbereitung und Durchführung der Entfernung von heißen Verbrennungsrückständen in Schmelzkammerfeuerungen/Zyklonen gegeben.

Die legislativen Änderungen, insbesondere die Harmonisierung der europäischen Regelwerke, aber auch die Neuerungen im Handelsrecht machen textliche Anpassungen erforderlich.
